How to Measure Your Ring Diameter
The diameter is measured across the inner width of the ring.
What You’ll Need:
- A ring that fits you well
- A ruler
Steps:
Step 1:
Find a ring that fits you perfectly.
Step 2:
Place the ring on a ruler and measure the widest part of the ring from the inner edge to the inner edge. Round off to the nearest millimeter.
How to Measure Your Finger Circumference
The circumference is measured around the base of your finger.
What You’ll Need:
- A piece of string
- A pencil or pen with a fine tip
- A ruler
Steps:
Step 1:
Cut a piece of string long enough to wrap around your finger comfortably.
Step 2:
Wrap the cut piece of string around the finger you want to measure. Pull the string as tight as possible for an accurate result. Once snug, mark the end with your pen or pencil.
Don't worry! The ring size is based on a tight measurement, but the ring itself won't fit that tightly.
Step 3:
Measure the length of the string in millimeters using a ruler. Round to the nearest whole millimeter.
